Central Europe, first half of 18th century

Cast pewter with engraved decoration. Baroque lidded container on four ball feet with talons and lion heads. Two lion heads with ring-shaped handles on each side. A woman’s head finial on the handle of the lid. Body engraved with a monogram and the year 1717.
